Sławomir Nitras

Slawomir Witold Nitras - Polish political scientist and politician, member of the Sejm of the fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth terms, deputy to the European Parliament of the seventh term, in 2014-2015 chief advisor to Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz. 

In 1998 he graduated in political science from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Szczecin. From 1997 to 1998 he worked as an assistant at the US Institute of Political Science and Philosophy. From 1998 to 1999 he was director of the office of the Koszalin Governor. From 1999 to 2002, he sat on the board of directors of the Koszalin Mineral Raw Materials Mine “Kruszywa Koszalin” S.A. The next three years he was involved in running a private business.
