Antonio Rodríguez Hita

Antonio Rodríguez Hita is a Lawyer. His training also includes MA in Healthcare Innovation Management and an Advanced Program in Innovation Leadership and Management.

He has 15 years of international experience in technology transfer. His work history includes a coordinator's position of the Innovation Support Unit at the Gregorio Marañón Health Research Institute, a director of the Madrid office of the Genesis Biomedconsulting firm, as well as Università della Calabria (Italy), the Research Institute of the Hospital de La Princesa, and a stay at the NIH Office of Technology Transfer (USA).

During his career in healthcare innovation, he has worked in leading work teams, developing strategic alliances, supporting the generation of spin-off companies, designing health entrepreneurship programs, negotiating technology transfer agreements and providing legal advice on industrial property matters.

He joined EIT Health Spain in May 2024, his main role as Entrepreneurship Lead is to establish relationships with the healthcare entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region and help them with the different entrepreneurship and open innovation opportunities offered by EIT Health.
