Ewa Lesner

Ewa Lesner is a Senior Geospatial Data Steward at Bayer's Digital Hub Warsaw. She graduated from the Naval Academy (Navigation and Hydrography) and the University of Gdansk (Marine Geology and GIS Analysis) and has been working with data in complex and innovative projects for over 18 years. She values professional and personal development and finds communication to be key.

After working on research vessels, from project planning, data acquisition, processing, and quality control, to charting and reporting, she focused on geospatial data analysis and management. As a member of the Environmental Team at Bayer Crop Science, she works with environmental data, collaborating with other Data Stewards and Engineers on existing and new solutions, constantly enhancing datasets to support stakeholders’ analysis and operations. When a problem arises, she focuses on looking for causes and solutions. She likes issues and challenges as we learn the most from them and it develops us and our work.

Privately wife and mother of 8- and 11-year-old sons and owner of a 5-year-old Cane Corso. She likes to actively spend time with them
