Natalia Maślany

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics at UJ in Krakow, with a strong passion for AI, particularly NLP. Currently, I am a ML Engineer at Aptiv, where I focus on developing advanced Generative AI technologies.

My programming journey began at AGH University, and I have continually refined these skills throughout my career. In my current role, I leverage my mathematical expertise to solve complex AI problems, including RAG and applications of Generative AI in Computer Vision. I maintain a research-oriented approach, always staying up to date with the latest discoveries.

Previously, I worked for three years on a research project at the Czech Academy of Sciences. During this time, I collaborated with an international team at the Institute of Mathematics in Prague, leveraging my programming skills to contribute significantly to research on combinatorial spaces. This effort resulted in the publication of two articles in prestigious journals and enhanced my understanding of AI from a mathematical perspective. Additionally, I actively participated in 10 conferences worldwide, delivering talks at four. I have also self-published two distinguished scientific journal articles, showcasing initiative and independence.
