Jarosław Kwiecień

Jarosław Kwiecień is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, where he earned a master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
He has been working in the Citi capital group since 1991. Starting his career as a telecommunications engineer, he was promoted through the ranks to Head of the Technology Division in 2013. During that period, he was involved in setting up the infrastructure for building Citibank in Poland from scratch, and then in launching the first credit card in Poland in 1998. Jarek was actively involved in building Citi's shared services centre in Poland between 2005 and 2008. From 2008 to 2012, he was the director of ICT infrastructure services at Citibank International in Poland, where he managed a team of more than 600 specialists. In his current role, Jarek places particular importance on the Bank's digital transformation, both in terms of customer service processes and the automation of internal processes.
Privately, Jarek Kwiecień is married, has three children and three grandchildren. While his great passion is travelling, he is also stays active by cycling, playing tennis and golf, and his favourite way to unwind is classical literature.
