Maciej Gdula

Sociologist, publicist, author and co-author of books, PhD in social sciences.

He graduated in sociology from the University of Warsaw in 2001. In 2006, he received his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Warsaw. There, in 2016, he received a doctoral degree in social sciences in sociology. He is a fellow of the Institute of Sociology and the Institute of Advanced Studies at the UW. As a sociologist, he specializes in social theory and the study of social classes. 

He is a columnist for "Krytyka Polityczna" and a member of the Stanisław Brzozowski Association (he was a member of the board of directors and served on the audit committee). He was the author of the "Miastko" report showing the dynamics and sources of political change in Poland from the perspective of a small town. In 2019, he won a mandate as a deputy to the Sejm of the ninth term.
