Karolina Brandys

Head of Production Engineering – Domestic Payments.

I am based in Kraków, Poland, and has overall 16 years’ experience in various roles within IT. I have spent my career working on building and leading IT production support and infrastructure engineering teams.

I started my career in IT team consisting in 99% of male individuals at that time! I learned a lot from them and they were extremely supportive. Still very often I am the only woman on the meetings.

It’s very important to learn how to treat this as advantage and never as a weakness!

Currently my global role involves managing teams within Production Engineering that support systems and applications processing Payments. 

I bring expertise in improving the quality, stability and resilience of payment platforms as well as streamlining the process of onboarding new systems.

In my free time,  I enjoy spending time with my family and regularly engage in fitness activities, particularly hitting the gym, and has a passion for travel and playing poker.
