Rute is an experienced leader with an MSc in Information Systems Engineering. With over 20 years at the nexus of Business and IT, Rute is known for her passion for Data Management, Team Leadership, and Enterprise Architecture. From 2016 to 2018, Rute spearheaded an inter-banking group in Luxembourg, orchestrating the harmonized adoption of GDPR across the top five commercial banks. Results-oriented, Rute has a history of integrating innovative operational systems, IT frameworks, and people, earning the distinction as one of the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg’s top talents in 2020. At EIB, Rute’s leadership in data governance has significantly expedited the implementation of data controls by a critical team overseeing extensive reporting and data points through an innovative in-house data quality solution. Her leadership skills are reflected in her team’s growth and their management of data. Rute founded a community for data governance and best practices within the operational community, enhancing knowledge sharing and system use.
