Izabela Gęsicka

I entered the IT world nearly 19 years ago, directly from the field of film studies, so everything I know about tech, I learned at GSK. From the very beginning, I have been involved in managing projects, processes, and contracts. In my career, I have also managed support for critical business applications and global services (including Outlook and Teams). Besides service management, my great passion is team management—initially a local team, and now a global one, spread across the world, including strategic partners.

I am an active member of the WLI (Women's Leadership Initiative—an internal ERG group at GSK), and for the past year, I have also been leading the Tech Employer Branding team.

At work, I am most inspired by people; I draw ideas and energy from them to continuously develop and improve the way we work. I am interested in psychology and constantly strive to develop my leadership skills to better support my team and the people I work with.

In my personal life, I enjoy being active, love traveling, and all kinds of sports, passions that I have been trying to instill in my daughter for the past 13 years.
