Simon Zernicki-Glover

I am Simon Zernicki-Glover, and I am in the graduating class of 2025 at Polytechnic School, Pasadena, California. I am half-Polish and half-British, and I grew up in Cambridge, England, but I currently live in Los Angeles. From a young age I was exposed to biology, spending a lot of my free time exploring embryology at one of CalTech’s labs, and this fostered my current interest in both medicine and biology. This year I was the first author of a paper about the fate of cells of the human embryo. Outside biological research, I am interested in global health, law, and legal-studies, and I have competed nationally in High School Moot Court. In my free time, you can find me writing and editing articles for my school newspaper, painting portraits, or reading the New York Times.
