Panelist
Patrycja is an ambitious student in her 3rd year of high school. Her interests lie in the field of neuroscience, specifically in neurodegenerative diseases. In 2023, after publishing an article in the Innovation Hub magazine, an international youth-led science magazine, she joined the team as the community coordinator and head of the ambassador programme. Innovation Hub now has 30+ ambassadors from 15+ countries, all of them working on initiatives to make the magazine available to students looking to publish research papers, articles and scientific photography. Patrycja is constantly trying to find new ways in which music can be used as a tool for scientific research and novel therapies. She is currently working on her External Project Qualification about how music can affect memory recall in Alzheimer’s patients, as well as a project involving the effect of rhythm on Parkinson’s disease. With her great passion for music therapy, she has talked to experts in the field, interviewing them for the upcoming episodes of the Innovation Hub podcast. She is also an intern at BRAINALITY, creating Virtual Reality environments as a form of reminiscence therapy for dementia patients.
