Julia Wojas

Julia is currently in her third year of high school, studying biology, mathematics, and chemistry for her A-levels. She is passionate about immunology and hematology. In 2022, she joined the Innovation Hub team, co-founding The Innovation Hub Podcast and becoming an author. Later, she became the Head of Social Media Management and Magazine Graphic Designer. She takes pride in being part of an organization that makes science more accessible to students worldwide.

In addition to her work on the magazine, she has authored several scientific review papers under the mentorship of various science professionals. The topics of her papers have included the role of MHC in mate choice, negative environmental influences on brain development mediated by epigenetic changes, and the effects of probiotics on cognitive functions via the gut-brain axis. Julia has also participated in a biotechnology summer school program in the UK and completed an internship at the Clinical Maternity and Gynecological Hospital named after St. Anne of Mazovia. In the future, she dreams of pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry.
