Nicola Stanisławska

Nicola is a driven student with a vast interest in biotechnology, currently in her penultimate year of high school. In 2021, she founded Innovation Hub, an international youth-led science magazine, aimed at offering likeminded students the chance to publish articles, research and scientific photography. As the Editor in Chief, she oversees all operations of the magazine, which under her leadership has developed into a prominent platform hosting the works of 80+ students from 25+ countries. The magazine, supported by Samsung, has been featured on several educational conferences. Nicola is a finalist of the “Polka XXI wieku” competition, featured as one of 3 most influential women in the Educational sector in Poland in 2023.

Beyond her magazine involved, Nicola has conducted research projects in the field of biology, interested in the intersection of biology and computer science. Most recently, she has published research on the relationship between blastomere size and speed of division. She is most interested in computation drug design, currently undertaking a project on the use of graph neural networks in drug design. In the future she hopes to pursue these fields in university.
