Science Speaker

University of Warsaw

She received an MSc and a PhD in high energy physics from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Physics. She was a member of the ZEUS Collaboration at DESY in Hamburg, Germany. Her studies were dedicated to the particle production in deep inelastic scattering at the HERA accelerator.
After her PhD she started to work in the Department of Biomedical Physics and her scientific interests concern medical physics, radiobiology in particular. She spent eighteen months at Stockholm University, where she joined the mixed beam effect for cancer risk project. She now works with PARTRAC codes (in cooperation with W.
