Karolina Smith

My name is Karolina and I am the Head of recruitment for Poland at HCLTech.

Delivering the best quality resources for all levels of seniority and different lines of business for Poland and other European locations, is where my experience lies. Throughout the 12+ years of my recruitment career in recruitment agencies and IT services companies, I've always been focused on building strong and long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. I am responsible for building a complete nationwide hiring strategy to deliver resources for the 110+ Clients we have in Poland.

When it comes to my educational background, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in HR Management and my Master’s degree in economics at the University of Economics in Krakow. I have almost 10 years of experience leading onsite and remote teams and soon I will complete my 8th year with HCLTech.

What is unique about my story, is that I actually knew what my calling was really early on in my life - it was recruitment. Later on I also realised that delivering technical teams was my true passion and was fortunate enough to be able to pursue it.
