Piotr Hamerski

Piotr has 18 years of overall experience in IT, mostly working for bank companies, currently 1,5 year in HSBC.
He's journey with IT started as a servicedesk specialist for customer banking applications.
In the first years of his career Piotr took on new roles and finally, while working as an application administrator, he got in touch with Oracle databases which resulted in him finding his career path as a database administrator.
Over the time Piotr developed his skills in Oracle database and linux system administration and expanded the scope of database skills by MySQL, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
He's current role in HSBC is a database administrator. Company's IT infrastructure along with demanding projects creates new challenges which gives him a lot of joy.
In his free time Piotr is passionate about movies, sport (football) and music, amateur playing the bass.
