I have 20+ years’ experience in Internal Control according to Sarbanes-Oxley Act working in four international corporations and in four different lines of business i.e. production, trade, telecommunications and banking. Currently I cooperate with all NatWest Markets (NWM) functions incl. Chief Operating Office, Risk, Technology, Finance in the UK and India offices to ensure SOX compliance. In my previous roles I was a Flow Manager of Revenues, Inventory, Purchasing, HR, Tax, IT General Controls and Finance flows. Being an Internal Control Expert gave me a unique opportunity to build in-depth experience of total management of end-to end process. For example, managing the Revenue flow required strict verification and testing of the whole process; commencing with agreement signing, client verification, service activation, billing, invoicing and revenue recognition. All those actions had to comply with IFRS accounting rules, risk coverage and appropriate data processing in order to ensure accurate values in the financial statement.
