Karolina Taraszkiewicz

Karolina is an award-winning architect and designer as well as a researcher and an academic teacher at The Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology, Poland.

As a co-founder of the Fort Taraszkiewicz Architekci design studio and a member of Karate Project media and design initiative as well as MataArchi design group, she combines research and scientific work with design practice.

Her current research focuses on the impact of new technologies, including artificial intelligence, on the architectural profession and architectural education. She also examines the impact of large-scale entertainment and sports facilities on contemporary urban spaces and issues related to the modern approach to design in the historical urban fabric.
