I have been working with people and data for 20 years, of which 17 years in the financial industry (insurance, investments, banking). Data interests me because behind it there is always information and truth about ourselves. I trust data more than human declarations. But without knowing the people and context, I don't understand the data. A sociologist and ethnologist by education. I have always combined hard analytical competences and the ability to work with numbers with an understanding of human behaviour and the ability to reach other people. I have heard more than once that I can talk about numbers in an interesting way. Probably because I don't focus on the data themselves, but on the information and knowledge derived from them.
