Aleksandra Jarmolińska

Aleksandra got her Master's in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from the University of Warsaw, and followed that with a PhD (in Computer Science, but only due to administrative reasons), and promptly ran away from research to join Google. Five years later, she's still happily coding away in the same team, now as one of its leads and leading the local PRIDE@Google chapter. Up until recently, spent her free time representing Poland at shooting competitions (including last two Olympic Games), now she's just spending her free time losing to her wife at board games and learning (painfully) that there's a lot more running in badminton than expected.
