Darlene Garcia

Darlene Garcia has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. She began her career at Cisco Systems as a project manager for the infrastructure organization, where she spent 16 years honing her skills. She then joined Meta, where she gained valuable experience in cybersecurity and was part of the team that launched the security function in EIS. Currently, Darlene supports a group of Security Program Managers, driving various security initiatives in Data Security, Application Security, Client Security, Network Security, and Vulnerability Management.

Outside of work, Darlene is a devoted mother to three daughters aged 21, 19, and 14. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and trying out new restaurants. During the pandemic, one of her daughters introduced her to KPOP music, which she now loves listening to.
