Jaci Badenhorst

I am a firm believer that the intersection of human insight and innovation with technology ignites sparks of genius, and that understanding the human and process aspects is critical - it’s not always about the technology.

In my current role as head of financial insights and innovation for Performance Insights at NatWest Finance, I champion the integration of data and technology to business processes. My professional journey spans from a grounding in business operations as a Chartered Accountant both in the assurance and business restructuring practices at PwC. Joining NatWest I pivoted to retail banking reporting, before pursuing my passion and present focus on cutting-edge data and tech solutions over the past several years.

I am a life long learner and the first to recognize that there is always something to learn, I’m rooted in both theory and practice, with a first-class Honours degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh. I further expanded my horizons through the University of Oxford FinTech programme.

I’m a father of two, living with my family on Scotland’s east coast. I recharge by embracing the coastal elements, surfing, and stone lifting.
