Agnieszka Kowalewska has graduated from the Gdansk University of Technology receiving a Bsc and Msc degrees in Electronics Engineering. She has started her professional career as hardware and software engineer in a Polish company designing security systems. From the very beginning her greatest passion was firmware/embedded software. Her portfolio ranges from simple devices to contributing to large projects.
For the past 14 years she has worked at Intel holding several roles. She started in PC segment, then moved to Servers and now is part of Network and Edge group. Few years ago, she fully focused on designing new products. She is currently Firmware Architect of Ethernet products ranging from Foundational Network Interface Controllers (NICs), through Infrastructure Processing Units (IPUs) to dedicated SoCs powering Telco infrastructure.
She works with people from all around the globe. She enjoys showing people their best selves professionally and beyond. She lives near Gdansk with her husband, 3 teenage girls and 2 cats. She strongly believes her daughters will pursue STEM careers in the future! Her most complex lifetime project is to grow a dream eco garden near her house.
