Aleksandra Ochwat

Aleksandra is experienced engineer with over 10 years in aerospace industry. She has started her journey as Product Support Engineer – working 24/7, supporting Airlines with maintenance of their engines. In 2015 she has joined GE Aerospace as Edison Engineer, where she joined 2-year long program for young engineers, that required rotating every 6-8 months and problem solving of advanced technical problems based on real examples.

Since 2019 she’s been leading GE Aerospace Women’s Network initiative (leading 10+ team), which empowers, energizes and elevates women to ensure equity. In 2023 she was a Keynote Speaker at Women in Tech Summit with Pay it Forward speech.

Currently, Aleksandra is working as Sub-Section manager, leading a team up to 10 people, responsible for High Pressure Turbine design engineers that support LEAP fleet in Field/MRO.

In private life, she’s a wife and mom of two – daughter (7) and son (4). She enjoys flying (she’s a private pilot license holder), motor driving, kite surfing and yoga.
