Michał Soboń

Michał Soboń is a seasoned software engineer with a wealth of experience in the industry. In 2012, he earned his degree in Computer Science from the prestigious AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. Starting his career at Sabre, Michał made contributions to the development of a Single Sign-On system. Later, at Guidewire, he not only built software but also played a key role in establishing the Krakow office, joining as employee #5.
Currently, at Remitly, where he was one of the early employees in Krakow (#6), Michał's focus lies on money movements, which are critical components of Remitly's mission to facilitate international money transfers.
Michał boasts extensive experience in recruitment. Having conducted over 100 interviews, he has evaluated candidates for positions ranging from software engineers to technical writers, as well as engineering and product managers.
