Aleksandra Rakieć

Lead Engineer in Catalyst program.

Aleksandra graduated from Rzeszow University of Technology (BSc) and Warsaw University of Technology (MSc) in Aerospace Engineering. She started her career while still a student, in 2018, as an intern at MTU Aero Engines. In 2020, she joined GE Aerospace where she took part in its Edison Engineering Development Leadership Program aimed at young engineers. It allowed her to develop both leadership and technical skills. Throughout the years, Aleksandra focused mostly on High Pressure Compressor design – from its conceptual phase to production. Since October 2023, she has been working as Engineer in the Shop in Prague, Czech Republic. Her main role is to support Catalyst engine certification from technical perspective, and to improve processes in this area. She is also a member of GE Women’s Network team, supporting women across the organization.
